Rediscovering My Own Work at Sasse Museum
I had an unexpected moment of clarity recently while visiting the Colorstraction exhibition at Sasse Museum, where several of my pieces are currently on display. Standing before works like Crystal Cove, Inner Landscape, Four Elements, and Lights Dancing (which also graces the cover of this month's Indie Pathways Magazine), I found myself asking: why haven't I been exhibiting these more?
These pieces—with their deep mineral blues, fiery crystalline formations, and translucent layers—look absolutely stunning in the museum's lighting. The way the crystalline textures catch and refract light in person creates exactly the kind of otherworldly portal I've always intended. It's made me realize I may have been keeping some of my strongest work in the studio for too long.
