Closing the Year with Gratitude and Inspiration
As the holidays approach, I find myself reflecting on a year of creative growth and meaningful connections. I began 2024 with Stillness In Chaos, a solo exhibition at the Poway Center for the Performing Arts that received coverage from Genie Davis and resulted in three pieces finding new homes. In May, Preserved Memories, an installation honoring those affected by memory loss, opened at Gallery 825 and drew heartfelt responses from families sharing their stories—which I can't wait to incorporate into future iterations. Beyond several group exhibits, I completed two artist residencies (Dorland and a self-directed residency in Morro Bay) and participated in the LA Art Show and The Other Art Fair, where several pieces found their forever homes. Looking ahead, I'm honored to have work in The Expanse in Tehachapi (opening January 3) and Mezza, an online exhibition exploring diversity and shared humanity through women artists from different cultures. Most exciting: I'll be attending an artist residency in France in December 2025. Wishing you an amazing holiday season and a healthy, peaceful, and fruitful new year.
