2025 Started With a Bang
2025 started with a bang—one that took my breath away and drained me of all my energy. Between elections, fires, and countless natural disasters (many of which could have been minimized if we paid more attention to this planet we call home), I found myself overwhelmed and craving retreat. So I did what I always do: I went into the studio, immersed myself in my art, and held onto hope for a miracle. That time allowed me to expand and develop Beyond the Veil: Luminous Realms, the body of work I've been building over the past few years, while also connecting with incredible people who've helped me grow professionally. Now I'm excited to share what's emerged from that work: my solo exhibition opens March 25 at Antelope Valley College Art Gallery (4-6pm), where I'll be showing selected pieces from the series alongside an installation exploring the multidimensionality of the universe and light transmuting through the veils between worlds (the show runs March 17-April 10). My painting Transcendent Flow was also juried into the "Imagination" group exhibition at TAG Gallery by Shana Nys Dambrot—that show is up through March 26 if you want to catch it. More is in the works, and I always love hearing your thoughts after these updates—your comments mean everything. I look forward to connecting with you.
