Indigo Dreaming
Indigo Dreaming was born from a desire to explore connection, transformation, and the unexpected beauty that emerges when we let go of control. The series began with blue—a color that feels infinite, like the vast sky or ocean, full of depth and possibility. From there, as I poured the colors, I allowed them to find their own rhythm, blending freely and creating something unique as they interacted with one another.
I also wanted to examine the balance between control and freedom. By relinquishing the need to dictate every outcome, I created space for transformation—allowing each painting to evolve in ways I couldn’t predict. This process reflects my belief that true beauty arises when we embrace the unpredictability of life and art.
The series also explores how individuality and interconnectedness coexist. Each color, like a culture or identity, remains true to its essence while mixing and contributing to a greater whole. This concept of blending and honoring diversity lies at the heart of Indigo Dreaming. It’s about creating a space where differences are not just accepted but celebrated, where unexpected interactions lead to something harmonious and rich.
Indigo Dreaming is about embracing change, welcoming surprises, and finding beauty in what emerges when boundaries dissolve. It serves as a reminder that when we come together with openness and respect, the most beautiful things happen.
